I am sharing my opinion and experience with the new Probio Sensitive Calm water. This is an ideal product for the first hydrating step after washing your face. It restores the skin's normal pH, which tap water disrupts to some extent. It prepares the skin wonderfully for the following steps, helping it absorb all the beneficial ingredients in the other products better. It has a lovely rose scent, which is natural: Snowborn products contain no synthetic fragrances or perfume. It takes some time to notice a visible reduction in redness, but with regular use you can feel the difference. The skin becomes soft and very fresh. The word 'mist' in the name is slightly misleading, as it traditionally suggests a spray bottle, whereas this is an ordinary bottle. Personally, I prefer to pour the water into a spray bottle and spray it directly onto my face, then gently press it in with my hands. To me, there is no point wasting the product on a cotton pad, because the cotton absorbs a lot and not much reaches the skin. Rubbing is especially inadvisable for skin with rosacea. Its formula and purpose remind me very much of Korean essences. I tried pouring a little into my hand and spreading it over my face, but it is not as pleasant or effective as using a spray bottle, which also avoids wasting product. It does not sting my eyes at all. The only drawback, although perhaps it is not a drawback because the product may simply not be intended for this, is that it does not remove makeup effectively. For that, Snowborn's other water, Back to Balance, is indispensable. It dissolves waterproof and long-wearing makeup very easily. I save that water specifically for removing eye makeup because it is the ONLY micellar water, yes, in capital letters :), that does not sting my eyes. I do not use Nivea, Garnier or similar brands; I am comparing it only with micellar waters from higher-end dermatological skincare brands, and they all sting my eyes, including the well-known Bioderma Sensibio. Overall, this product is a 10 out of 10.
