I am sharing my opinion and experience with the new Probio Sensitive Calm water. This is an ideal product for the first hydrating step after washing your face. It restores the skin's normal pH, as tap water disrupts it to a greater or lesser extent. It wonderfully prepares the skin for the subsequent steps by helping it better absorb all the beneficial substances contained in the other products. It has a very nice rose scent (natural, as Snowborn products contain no synthetic fragrances or perfumes). To notice a visible reduction in redness takes some time, but with regular use, it is noticeable. The skin becomes soft and super fresh. The word "mist" in the name is slightly misleading; it is traditionally associated with a spray bottle for misting, but here the bottle is ordinary. The way I personally prefer to use the water is by pouring it into a spray bottle and spraying it directly onto the face, after which I gently press with my hands. For me, there is no point in wasting the product on a cotton pad, because the cotton absorbs a lot, and not all that much actually gets onto the skin. Especially for rosacea-prone skin, rubbing is not recommended. It is very similar in composition and purpose to Korean essences. I tried pouring a little into my hand and spreading it over my face, but it's not as pleasant and effective as using a spray bottle, and this way there is no wasted product. It doesn't sting the eyes in any way. The only downside (though why should it be a downside, maybe the product just isn't meant for this) is that it doesn't handle makeup removal. For that purpose, Snowborn's other water, Back to Balance, is irreplaceable. I save this water specifically for eye makeup removal because it is the ONLY (yes, in capital letters ) micellar water that doesn't sting my eyes. I don't use Nivea, Garnier, and other similar brands; here I am only comparing it to higher-end medical cosmetics micellar waters, and all of them sting me, including the very famous Bioderma Sensibio. Overall, the product is a 10 out of 10.
